UKFMX bring to you the UK’s hottest FMX riders in an action packed airborne battle to decide who can pull the best trick, the biggest air, or the sickest whip. You can expect to see some crazy riding from these professionals as they throw their bikes from one massive ramp to the next!

Freestyle Moto-Cross is a radical sport designed to thrill spectators with a high-profile packaged form of off-road riding. The riders are pure athletes who have taken the sport of Moto-Cross to the next level of entertainment and perform acrobatic stunts over ramps between 50 to 90 feet long. The machines are modified Moto-Cross bikes with stiffer suspension designed to cope with the hard landings. The motorcycles also have a number of other modifications essential to equip them for the strains and stresses of this extreme sport. Riders frequently sail between ramps at heights approaching 40 feet. The further the jump and the higher the altitude, the longer the period of negative G-force and the more ambitious the resultant antics.

The riders known to be attending the event are Gary Taylor and Danny Veal, riding KTM 250 bikes. These bikes can reach a top speed of 85mph. Gary has competed in the IFMXF world shows and finished 2nd in 2004, he also holds a record for doing 5 back flips in one minute! The back flip is one of the biggest crowd pleasers, with the rider fully inverting himself and the bike before landing back on two wheels.
